So I'm laying on my couch and my class 15' group just left for our last study of the year. We are still going to have another get together during finals week, but we haven't decided exactly what that is going to look like. As Hailey prayed to end the night I thought about how much of a blessing the group has been to me this entire year. I remember going to Aimee's for my bible study every Monday night. It was in that bible study that I met amazing girls who will forever be some of my very best friends, and it was also the study group where a lot of my growth in the Lord began. If I had been asked as a freshman in that study if I saw myself leading a study like the one I was in I never would have guessed it. The Lord placed me with Aimee and those group of girls at the time for a reason and I am so glad that I had such an amazing opportunity to grow in him. I knew toward the end of semester last year that I wanted to serve with Class 15'. I still wasn't sure about it, but I knew the Lord was calling me out of my comfort zone. I've never felt comfortable with my peers, and I've always said put me in front of 40 4 year olds and I'm great. However, I've never felt that way about my peers. After some fun nights to get started with the year I was even more excited about serving with this ministry team. I know that freshman year was such a time for growth in my life, and I was hoping that I could witness that for myself. I remember finding out that I was leading with Sam, and being super excited about co-leading with him.
Then we found out who was in our group, and I was so excited although I only knew one girl that had been assigned to my group. On the other hand, I recognized all the boys names because ironically they had randomly been placed on my team for cupcake wars as was Sam. Last semester was a great time studying the essentials of the word. It was the same study that I had done as a freshman, but the Lord still taught me different things that I didn't learn as a freshman.
I always sit on my couch excitedly waiting on them to come at 7pm every week. As for my freshman bible study I felt like we all grew much closer as a group during the second semester. We just finished our study on "Love, Sex, and Lasting Relationships" For part of the study we split up girls and boys, and I especially enjoyed the times where we separated. I learned so much from the girls in my group through their willingness to be vulnerable and their strength in the Lord. They taught me so much by sharing what the Lord was doing in their lives, and I am so thankful for that.

I Pinned It, I Did It!!!
Tonight we had a fun night for bible study. We had tacos and played Family and it was a good night of fellowship. I knew I wanted to make something sweet for them to eat to go with the tacos. I wanted to make something homemade instead of brownies or some variation of brownies. I wasn't sure what I wanted to make because I had so many desserts when I went home for Easter weekend. I finally decided to use a recipe that I pinned on my recipe board on pinterest. I'm so bad about pinning them, but never doing them. I decided to use a simple 5 ingredient recipe with m & ms. I'm all about simple, and plus I had all the ingredients except for the M &Ms at my house.
M & M Peanut Butter Bars
The only thing that I did differently than the directions said is how many m&ms I added. I wasn't sure what the directions meant by a bag of m&ms. Does it mean a single serving bag, a sharing/2serving bag/ a large bag, or a box like you get at the movies. So I went with the big bag and added about half the bag to the mixture at the end. You can probably add as much as you want, but I would add them gradually. Always remember "You can always add more, but you can't take it out once you add it!" Here are some of my pictures. I don't understand how they can always make them look so good in pictures. I promise they were tastier than what they looked like from my iphone camera.

Life as I know it!
Life has been pretty crazy this past month. I wish that I would have been able to blog more because I can never decide what I want to blog about when I actually do it.
I made a super cute project for my science class displaying the phases of the moon. the con to this project, I ate lots of Oreos.
In the past month I have eaten with one of my best friends from youth group, and it was so nice to catch up with her. Rachel and I were always together in youth group, and boy did we usually get into trouble.
I had a picnic on my lunch break. I'm so blessed to be able to spend my quiet time at work without fear of persecution.
I got to go to State Youth Convention for the first time as a counselor. It was so amazing, and as I was walking in with Kristy I still got the same feeling that I always got when I walked into the convention room. I learned a lot, and received a refreshing from the Holy Spirit that was much needed.

I registered for the praxis and signed up for block which was super cut throat. I got in the section I wanted with Erin and Eliza and I'm excited for next semester.

I got to do a really cool thing for my science class, oh if only I could do this in my classroom one day.
David and I got 5 hamburgers and two strawberry lemonades for under 4 dollars. Wahoo!
Samantha and Aimee had a short ladies retreat for the girls on the ministry team last Friday. It was so good. It was great girl time and we watch some videos where Beth Moore spoke. She is hard core, and even though the retreat didn't even last 24 hours I learned a a lot.
